Facing the Pacific Ocean, the Takamatsu course was recently completely redesigned by world famous course designer Rees Jones and opened again on November 3rd 2020 on the mountain sharing the same name. With exciting elevation changes and vistas to the ocean throughout your round, this semi-tropical location consists of mature pine and palm trees. A tournament course, having hosted many JPGA regular and senior tournaments throughout the years, you are guaranteed a challenging world class experience. Both nines meander through the natural landscape with a splendid combination of strategic holes, fast greens and manicured fairways. Note, there are actually 36 holes on premises with the Ogasa Course also a Rees Jones remodel and also newly opened in 2020. In addition to year round mild conditions, the course offers green fairways even during the winter months, so it's always a pleasure to play here.

Enjoy green fairways all-year-round!
Enjoy green fairways all-year-round!
This course is an evergreen course where you can play golf on green fairways all year round. Using a special method called "over-seeding", we manage our turf so you can play on green grass even in winter, throughout the year. The process includes sow seeds of ryegrass (a kind of grassy pasture type), which is a cold-season grass, on Tifton turf in early October.
Instead of Tifton turf which turns brown/dormant in the cold season, ryegrass will start growing up from autumn to spring, so we can keep green fairways even in the winter, thus enjoying playing on the green fairways all year round.
※[over-seeding method] Is a method of sowing cooler land type seed/grass including ryegrass on warmer land type grass such as Tifton turf creating a fairway of green turf during the winter season.
